The Aspen/Pitkin County Airport is an excellent place to do business, partnering with the local community to provide world-class services and amenities to our traveling public and visitors.
The airport is responsible for purchasing and overseeing of services and supplies to maintain and care for the airport facility to include the Terminal Building, Operations Center and other related facitlities and equipment. Purchasing includes, but is not limited to, construction, snow removal, paving, crack sealing, seal coating, striping, signage and facility maintencance services. In-Terminal Booths
The Airport offers businesses the opportunity to occupy and do business within the Airport’s Baggage Claim area from a number of booths that offer excellent exposure to arriving passengers for properties, ground transportation providers or other service oriented businesses.

Requests for Proposal
Pitkin County is part of the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System, which is a bid notification system being utilized by many government agencies in Colorado and Wyoming. Participating agencies post their bids, quotes, requests for proposal, construction notices, addendums and awards all on this one centralized system.
Vendors who wish to do business with Pitkin County are encouraged to register on this system. There is no charge to join and search for bids. Vendors may also sign up for automatic bid notification service that is available for a fee. By choosing the notification option, vendors will receive emails once Pitkin County has a bid opportunity that matches the company’s services.

Ground Transportation Service Providers
Operation of commercial vehicles throughout the airport is governed by procedures established by Pitkin County and Airport Administration. Unlicensed operators are subject to fines and removal from airport property.
