Parking lots can fill quickly during peak travel times.

Parking at ASE

ASE offers two convenient parking lots for travelers: Bear Lot is located feet from the terminal entrance and the Elk Lot (Economy) is a short walk from Baggage Claim. Follow signage on Airport Road (frontage road running parallel to Hwy 82). Click here to see a larger image of the map.

Parking Details

The parking systems at ASE are fully automated and offer travelers many options to pay for parking. The most common form of payment is using a credit card when exiting. We have recently added chip and tap readers for ease of use, along with multiple options to pay by phone. If travelers would prefer to pay with cash, this needs to be done inside the terminal, before driving to the exit lane. See more answers to FAQ’s below.

**SURGE RATE: If parking for 2-12 hours, the rate in both lots is $6 PER HOUR up to $40 MAX. After 12 hours, the rates return to normal and the $40 is no longer included.


BEAR LOT

Located just steps from the terminal entrance.

· The first 30 minutes are free.
· The next 30 minutes at two dollars ($2).
· The next hour at two dollars ($2).
· Every hour from 2 hours to 12 hours will be six dollars ($6) per hour with a max of forty dollars ($40).
· After the twelve-hour time, the rate will be the daily rate of twelve dollars ($12).
· The lost ticket fee is $75.


ELK LOT

Located a short walk from the baggage claim.

· The first 30 minutes are free.
· The next 30 minutes at one dollar ($1).
· The next hour at one dollar ($1).
· Every hour from 2 hours to 12 hours will be six dollars ($6) per hour with a max of forty dollars ($40).

· The lost ticket fee is $75.

Parking FAQs

How do I pay for parking?

Drive up to the exit gate in either lot and scan your parking ticket. Insert or tap your cc to pay the displayed fee. You can also tap your phone by utilizing Apple Pay or Google Pay. Press for a receipt if needed.

Can I pay with cash?

YES! There are two Pay on Foot Machines (POF) located just inside the double doors of the Arrivals and Departures Terminals. Scan your parking ticket, pay cash at the kiosk, and exit by using your original ticket or receipt. Cash is only accepted at the POF machines and is not accepted in the exit lanes.

How much does it cost to park?

The Bear Lot is $12 per day and the Elk Lot is $6 per day. If you are parking for less than 12 hours, see the rate signs above for a detailed breakdown.

Can I pay with my phone?

YES! Scan the QR Code on any light blue parking sign located in baggage claim, posted in the parking lots, or in the exit lanes. Follow the directions on your phone to pay and exit. Manually enter your credit card information or use Apple Pay or Google Pay.

I lost my parking ticket. What do I do?

There is a button on the screen at each exit kiosk labeled ‘Lost Ticket’. Press the ‘Lost Ticket’ button and pay the displayed fee of $75 to exit. You can contact LAZ Parking for more information at (970) 309-5497.

My ticket is faded and won't scan. How do I pay?

Scan the QR Code on any light blue parking sign posted in the parking lots and in the exit lanes. Follow the directions on your phone to pay. A QR Code will be generated on your phone to scan and exit. Do not leave your ticket on the dashboard when parking for long durations to easily avoid this situation.

Do I need to extend my prepaid parking ticket if my plans change?

NO! If your flight is delayed or your plans change, the parking kiosk will generate the amount owed upon exiting the lot. You will still need your original QR Code and a credit card.

I prepaid for parking but need to cancel. Is it too late?

As long as you cancel 24 hours before it starts, you can receive a full refund.

I pressed the screen for a ticket but nothing is happening.

The touch screens work best when touched lightly. Touch the button lightly to produce a ticket and enter the lot.

Is there a shuttle service at ASE?

No. Both of our parking lots are located within walking distance to the terminal.
