Pitkin County’s Notice to Amend Passenger Facility Charge (PFC) Notice of Intent
Number 15-09-C-00-ASE at the Aspen-Pitkin County Airport
Effective Date of Public Notice: June 11, 2021
The Aspen/ Pitkin County Airport (ASE) is planning it’s Airfield Pavement Rehabilitation – Phase Two to begin the night of July 26 through August 12, 2021. The work will be scheduled daily from 10:00pm to 05:00am to AVOID any Runway Closure and/or disruption to normal Aircraft Operations. The majority of the pavement work required on the Runway was completed during Phase One last month. Phase Two focusses on parts of the Taxiway-A (alpha) system. It was phased this way to thoughtfully minimize impact during the busy summer season at the airport. The Airport appreciates your patience and understanding; as we continue to ensure a safe and sustainable facility.
